went for the studio Q2 dinner and dance on tuesday night

(psst..Q2 means 2nd quarter)

not exactly the formal kind of dinner and dance

but more like a gathering and chillout session

still remember the last time when i met bon mama

and was telling her my chilli tolerance level has gone up

thanks to the colleagues here :P

cuz these are what they are feeding me with at the SiChuan restaurant

 

on the left its called 'fei teng fish'

really spicy but tasty as the fish glides through your mouth

practically melts in it

a must try if any of you are visiting this place to spice up

the dish in the middle is some spicy frogs

the meat is tender and i would say even chewy

but i like the sauce more than the frog though

the 'la zi chicken' or spicy chicken is nice

better than the 鲜得来 @ bugis

so must try if u are a fan of fried chicken cubes

the wax meat or 蜡肉 tastes interesting

in my simple terms sweetened thin bacon with a layer of wax

i know it sounds kind of wrong but its nice with the sweet and spicyness

the trotters with peanut soup is average

nothing too fantastic

but just to pre-emp you peeps who wanna go there

the food is generally quite oily due to the chilli oil

what i did was i only ate a few mouthful of rice

and used the rest like a tissue to absorb the oil

we went to wine connections at cuppage for moscato
a kind of white wine which tastes quite sweet
and smooth
but not to my liking cuz i dun like the alcohol taste which
lingers after drinking it
i offered the remaining to rina who helped me finish it

i like the feeling
love how i feel when i am with him
to most people
i may give them the impression that
i am very independent and tomboy-ish at times
just like it when i can be the little woman
with him
