Being a Leader

It is no easy task to become a leader in an organization.

You may not be doing the groundwork but you have to know what is going on. You have to trust the people working for you. You have to be firm, and not be swayed by personal feelings. You have to walk the talk. At times you have to make difficult decisions and yet also reassure others. You have to know what is right and what is wrong. You have to know the strengths and weaknesses of your team and use their capabilities to the best that you can. You must have foresight and vision on the direction of the team or organization. And even when you make mistake, you have to acknowledge it and work on solutions. You have to be fair and not bias, remain objective.

Definitely not easy.
